Business start-up advice and set-up
Starting a new business is always quite a challenge. We are here to provide information on various questions you may have in relation to this.
Annual Statutory Accounts
All companies and businesses are required to submit their annual accounts under the law. The form depends upon the structure of the business and its operational status.
Payroll Registration / Administration / Advice
Processing payroll in-house can be time consuming and growing complex due to changes in payroll and the introduction of Auto-enrolment.
VAT Registration / Administration / Advice
VAT has always been an issue with small businesses, mainly due to the lack of proper information in this area. We can help.
Book-keeping
We can help you with your book-keeping, set up a book-keeping system at your business and train your staff if required.
Tax Planning, Inquiries & Investigations
Do not fall into the hands of unqualified accountants or tax advisors who may appear to have saved you tax today for their short-term benefit but at your long-term cost. Unlawful short-term savings can lead to hefty fines and liabilities in the future.
Management Accounts
Businesses may need reports on performance and position for expansion decisions, new strategies, taking on new capital and other reasons.
Business plan preparation and advice on raising finance
Businesses with business plans are far more likely to succeed. Business plans also help raise capital from lenders, join new partners or shareholders and more.
Pension - Auto enrolment
UK workplace pension law requires employers to run a workplace pension when they reach their staging date. Failing to comply can result in hefty fines and legal action.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Why do I need to choose a qualified accountant?
Qualified accountants are regulated by their regulatory bodies, have insurances in place and are required to update themselves on a regular basis through continuing professional development. You can contact their regulatory body if anything goes wrong and could not be sorted out between yourselves. You will have peace of mind working with them in terms of quality of work and risk cover.
How do I know if an accountant is qualified?
You can ask their regulatory body over the phone or check their regulatory body website. For us, as ACCA qualified members, you can verify whether an individual is qualified and whether the firm is licenced through the ACCA find-a-member service.
Changing accountants is really difficult
That is a misconception many have. With us, all we need is your decision and a signature; we do the rest for you. Dead simple! However, if you are completely satisfied with your accountant, we advise not to change. By trying us for your no obligation review, you pay nothing but can see if you can save on your taxes and expenses from advice on efficient business plans. Some of our clients came to us for a free no obligation review and stayed with us.
How much should I expect to pay to you?
Be careful: some accountants may appear very cheap at the beginning but this may result in huge cost in the long run. We have seen clients who ended up paying accountants who never provided appropriate service. We tailor prices reasonably based on each client requirement. You will only pay for the services you receive at a reasonable scale.
Any consultation fee?
Initial consultation is always free, up to an hour, whether you come to us or we visit you within a reasonable commuting distance.
I'm half way through my year, means do I only pay for 6 months fees?
Unfortunately not. It all depends on the services and there may be a lower charge for the first year, however this can only be confirmed once we know your situation.
How can I contact you?
Email, phone or via our website. Please contact us if you need further advice, have questions about our services, would like a free consultation or a fixed fee quote.
Referral reward
Refer and Earn
Some of our clients are still making money through our referral reward scheme. So, why not you?

For every successful referral, we reward you with 20% of the total income earned in the first year, paid to you upon receipt of the income from the referred client.
You can also earn up to £150 for referring friends or colleagues to us. For more details, please contact us.
